Bridgestone Ireland and its sister company First Stop have made a number of changes to key personnel, and have also made some changes to areas of responsibility, to allow the two companies to have a stronger focus on important areas of development.
Audrey Leonard and Frank White, First Stop Ireland
Bridgestone and First Stop believe this will help them to maintain their market leading position in Ireland and also to maintain and improve the level of service provided to their trade and consumer customers. The changes and refocus of staff will be in key areas of their business including Commercial Products, Retail Development and Marketing.
In Commercial Products Conor Curran has been appointed as Commercial Sales Manager for Ireland. Conor was previously the Fleet Sales Manager for Bridgestone and has significant experience of delivering solutions for major fleets through Bridgestone’s partner network.
Andrew Frizzell will take over the role of Commercial Fleet Sales Manager for Ireland having previously held the position of Commercial Sales Representative for Northern Ireland, in which he made a significant contribution in recent years.
Andrew Bushe has been newly appointed to the position of Commercial Sales Representative for Bridgestone in Northern Ireland. Andrew has previously worked for a number of companies in the tyre industry and media in Northern Ireland and has a wealth of experience dealing with commercial vehicle fleets.
In retail Frank White has been appointed as Retail Business Consultant for First Stop Ireland. Frank was previously the Commercial Sales Manager in Bridgestone Ireland and will now take on the challenge of developing the First Stop independent dealer network in both the North and South of Ireland. Frank is well known to the tyre trade in Ireland with over 25 years of service to Bridgestone.
Audrey Leonard joins the First Stop North Region team covering UK, Ireland, Finland, Denmark and Sweden. Audrey joins First Stop from Tesla and also previously worked for Toyota in Ireland. She has a strong background in the development of service and maintenance networks and will work across the region to support, improve and expand the national First Stop networks for the benefit of both dealers and consumers.
Bridgestone Ireland’s Marketing and PR Manager, Colm Conyngham, will now refocus exclusively on Marketing and Public Relations activities for the Bridgestone and Firestone brands for both consumer and commercial products. Colm has undertaken a number of roles simultaneously in recent years including marketing and retail development. Colm played a key role in building up the Bridgestone brand in Ireland from its launch in 1990 and will once again focus on positioning Bridgestone as Ireland’s number one tyre brand with consumers and commercial vehicle operators.
