Bridgestone launches Turanza All Season 6

Bridgestone has launched the Turanza All Season 6, its new premium touring all-season tyre featuring Enliten Technology.

Designed to perform all year round, Bridgestone says the Turanza All Season 6 was brought to life on the basis of comprehensive market research with thousands of European drivers on what they expect from an all-season touring tyre and the driving challenges they face.

The launch follows a strong market growth towards all-season tyres witnessed since the launch of the predecessor of the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 in 2018 – with the segment now representing over a fifth of the European market.

Drivers who do not face severe winter conditions, or who use their cars on treated urban roads, increasingly opt for the convenience of an all-season tyre.

Across the seasons, European drivers face many driving challenges, including rain and snow. Bridgestone claims the Turanza All Season 6 has been designed to help drivers to stay in control even in these stressful conditions all year long – no matter the season or the weather conditions.

Specifically, the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 excels in three key areas: braking performance, snow performance, and mileage.

According to tests carried out by independent automotive testing institute, TÜV SÜD, the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 offers best-in-class wet braking and excellent braking performance in dry and snowy conditions alike.

TÜV SÜD also confirmed the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6’s strong capabilities in terms of snow traction, braking, cornering, and handling – which, along with its 3PMSF marking, ensures it can successfully manage winter challenges.

According to Bridgestone, the Turanza All Season 6 demonstrates a 20 per cent improvement compared to its predecessor, the Bridgestone Weather Control A005 EVO.

The Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 has been designed with Enliten Technology – a combination of technologies providing maximum safety, outstanding tyre performance and improved sustainability characteristics, while ensuring that Bridgestone tyres are electric vehicle-ready.

The Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 features an optimised pattern design and a new compound for improved asphalt contact, water evacuation and snow trapping, as well as enhanced performance balance.

Emilio Tiberio, CTO and COO at Bridgestone EMIA said the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 is one of five new consumer tyres to be launched by Bridgestone in 2023.

“We’ve listened to thousands of drivers across Europe while developing the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6,” he said.

“By gaining a truly comprehensive understanding of the daily driving challenges they face, we are able to continuously expand and improve our product portfolio to answer their needs.”

Developed and manufactured in Europe, the Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 is designed for passenger cars and on-road SUVs, including both electric and gas-powered vehicles.

The tyre will be available in 85 sizes from 16 to 21 inches.
