BKT taking flagship tyres to The Tire Cologne

BKT has said that it is taking its flagship tyre range to next week’s The Tire Cologne in Germany.

The Indian tyre maker’s offering includes products for the agricultural, agro-industrial, earthmoving, industrial and construction sectors – available in Ireland through Agrigear.

Among the top products on display at BKT’s booth will be the new Powertrailer SR 331, a tyre that has been specifically designed for trailers and tankers, and is ideal for both field and road operations.

Also on the stand will be the AgrimaxFactor, the all-new 70 series for tractors, ideal for both transport and tillage. This tyre boasts an improved tread design with longer lugs and a modified lug angle orientation in the rolling direction to ensure better roadability.

This tyre features an exclusive sidewall with the ‘E-Ready’ logo, which highlights BKT’s commitment to electric mobility.

Next to the AgrimaxFactor, BKT is exhibiting Agrimax V-Flecto, the tyre that has been awarded by DLG’s prestigious test quality certificate in the modules “Resources Protection” and “User friendliness”. This tyre is ideal for both soil tillage and transport applications, offering reduced soil compaction along with excellent self-cleaning properties.

The Tire Cologne 2024 will also be an opportunity to discover BKT’s latest two innovations in forestry: Forestland and Forestmax. The former is a tyre characterised by great cut resistance and excellent traction on soft terrain. Thanks to its special tread design and robust construction, the tyre is perfect for the most demanding forestry and agricultural operations.

Forestmax, on the other hand, has been specifically designed for tractors employed in forestry applications, since it provides extraordinary strength and traction even on rough terrains.

Meanwhile, BKT will showcase the Portmax PM 90, a radial tyre for industrial handling that features a special tread compound providing exceptional heat resistance and a longer tyre life-cycle, and the FL 695, which is specifically designed for trailers in construction and agricultural transport activities and can carry heavy loads while maintaining stability in all operating conditions.

On the earthmoving side, BKT will show the Earthmax tyre range with one of its flagship products, namely Earthmax SR 45 M. This All Steel radial tyre is perfect for rigid dump trucks employed in muddy environments, as it provides optimal strength and great traction even in the most extreme operating conditions.
