Bantry Tyres and Yokohama’s commitment to high-performance across all areas

High-performance encompasses all aspects of the partnership between Bantry Tyres, which is celebrating 50 years in business, and leading tyre manufacturer Yokohama.

Bantry Tyres, appointed as distributor for Ireland by Yokohama in 2010, particularly prides itself on high levels of customer service, including large stock holdings and next day delivery, which includes Yokohama’s popular high-performance tyre range.

And just like Yokohama’s high-performance tyres, the close relationship between Bantry Tyres and Yokohama has been built on reliability, trust and first-class delivery.

Meanwhile, tyres in Yokohama’s high-performance range include the Advan Sport V107 road tyre, available in sizes 18- to 24-inch. The road tyre, which clearly demonstrates Yokohama’s high-performance credentials, was developed in conjunction with BMW, while being co-developed and tested at Germany’s famous Nürburgring circuit.

The tyre, which achieved an “A” grade for wet performance in the EU’s tyre labelling system, is fitted by BMW as original equipment on cars including its M2 high-performance compact sports car.

The Advan Sport V107 gives drivers a premium touch with its stylish dark design effect on the sidewall, while it also boasts a special new compound comprising ultra micro silica and silica dispersed material.

Following hot on its heels is the Advan A052, Yokohama’s ultra-high-performance semi slick and road legal offering.

The A052 features an asymmetric tread pattern which delivers powerful cornering capability, efficient heat dissipation, greater straight-line stability and superior anti-hydroplaning. It is available in sizes from 13- to 20-inch and complies with European standard for rolling resistance.

Adding to Yokohama’s high-performance tyre range is the Advan Neova AD09, another tyre spanning racetrack and road use.

The road legal tyre, designed primarily for custom-tuned cars, is ideal for use on the track by providing enhanced grip, precise handling and high wear resistance for long lasting circuit use. Not only this, Advan Neova AD09 features a modern-looking side design together with original NEOVA design.

It is available in sizes from 17- to 21-inch and also features an optimised tread pattern and compound offering an uncompromised driving experience which helps drivers reduce lap times.

Last, but by no means least, is the Advan Fleva V701, which is a perfect match for lightly tuned and sporty cars. It has a cool and attractive pattern design complemented by a focus on noise reduction, while also providing impressive wet grip.
