Following a spectacular final weekend of wheel to wheel racing in Valencia, Spain, Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni was crowned ‘Rookie of the Year’ following an amazing first season at King of Europe drift series on Westlake tyres.

Having participated in one less race event than other leading drivers, Baggsy was up against it, but equipped with the grippy Westlake Sport RS, and consistent scoring in all weather conditions, the British driver was able to maintain his position amongst the leading racers.

The Valencia event also delivered one final ‘Team Award’ as both Baggsy and fellow drift racer Vaughan Gittin piled on the pressure to deliver a fantastic weekend’s drift performance.
But that’s not quite the end for 2014. Baggsy and Westlake next travel to Malta in early October as special invitees at the ‘King of Kings’ Superfinal event to celebrate ten fantastic years of European drifting.
