Two thirds of drivers don’t know legal tread depth
Drivers unaware of the safety issues of tyres at 1.6mm tread depth, and two-thirds admit to not knowing that it is the legal limit. That’s the stark findings of a survey conducted by Continental Tyres.

Michelin dealers visit Ballymena production site
A group of 27 independent truck and bus tyre dealers visited Michelin’s factory in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, on Friday 10 May 2013. The Michelin Truck Professional (MTP) dealers were invited to see Michelin’s new X MultiWay 3D steer and drive tyres being manufactured.

Yokohama to the fore at Silverstone
In addition to the first round of the BRDC F4 series, the recent opening round at Silverstone also saw literally hundreds of racers take to the circuit using Yokohama control tyres. Three series sporting the Japanese brand supported the headlining F4, including the new Ariel Atom Cup, Sports2000 and the hugely popular Caterham Graduates series.

Mercedes-Benz dealers on target for quicker alignment
Mercedes-Benz dealers across the UK can now benefit from faster wheel alignment measurements following Mercedes-Benz factory approval of the Hunter HTA-MB-TD wheel alignment system which acts as a direct replacement for the older HTA-MB-HD.
