Every week, businesses in Ireland waste hours of administrative time looking for hard-copy documents. Atlas Autoservice selected Datascan to scan and process over 6,000 job cards weekly, which are created across all 11 branches. These cards are scanned by Datascan and returned to Atlas Autoservice in a digital format than can be easily integrated into its bespoke CRM system. Vehicle job cards are therefore always available to Atlas Autoservice staff, irrespective of what branch a customer attends.

Mark Edwards, CEO, Atlas Autoservice Group said: “Atlas Autoservice Group operates 11 very busy branches all over Dublin and we drop our job cards to Datascan weekly for scanning straight into our CRM system. We are very happy with the service – the scanned job cards allow us access accurate, up to date information quickly on our system, which is vital for us, both from an internal and a customer focused point of view.”

Padraic Cafferty, Managing Director, Datascan said: “Datascan is delighted to continue its working relationship with Atlas Autoservice. We began working with the company over a year ago and our relationship has gone from strength-to-strength. We provide Atlas with the ability to retrieve key documents in seconds, as well as extract vital data and validate the outputs without ever having to see a hard copy document; which is very powerful in the motoring business. More importantly, customers of Atlas are reaping the rewards from this with an increased and improved service offering.”

Datascan recently announced a major infrastructure and software investment in excess of €200,000 to establish a dedicated scanning bureau. The bureau is focused on saving businesses money by scanning, digitally indexing and returning documents in a format that best suits their requirements. This bespoke service provides great efficiencies to businesses of all sizes as documents are returned in a format that can be easily integrated in to internal software packages, CRM or business intelligence systems.
