Ascenso appoints new UK and Ireland manager

Off-highway tyre brand Ascenso has appointed Josh Webster as its new UK and Ireland manager, effective 2nd September 2024.

In his new role, Webster will be responsible for the development of Ascenso’s partner base and sales while managing the current key accounts across the UK and Ireland.

Webster has over 25 years of experience in the tyre industry, comprising roles in both retail and wholesale. He joins Ascenso from wholesaler RH Claydon in the UK, where he was sales manager for the north of England and Scotland. Prior to that he held sales roles in both Hankook Tyre UK and Kumho Tire.

“This role will no doubt be a challenge but one that offers great possibilities,” said Webster. “Ascenso is relatively new to the market but is a company steeped in off-the-road tyre expertise and knowledge, with drive and passion. They’re geared up for the future, a future I’m proud to be part of.”
