The Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA) is holding a Retailer’s Meeting at the Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar, Co.Westmeath on Saturday, September 7, where it will launch its Licensing Scheme, which aims to raise standards in the industry.
The new licensing scheme will give members the opportunity to show their customers that they are the tyre expert in their area, according to ITIA President, Kevin Farrell.
By becoming a licensed tyre outlet you will stand out as a retailer who takes safety seriously and provides excellent levels of expertise and service,” Farrell said.
The ITIA says its licensing scheme is bringing improved standards of service and safety to the Irish Tyre industry. “Our ITIA Accreditation scheme is central to the licensing process, providing independent assessment of your tyre technicians’ skills. It also underlines the best practise for fitting and repairing tyres and successful candidates sign up to work to industry recognised standards.,” he added.
