In 2013, the Al Dobowi Group, distributor of Westlake Tyres in several key markets, and Hangzhou Zhongce ZC Rubber, owner and manufacturer of the tyre brand, celebrate a 20 year continuous partnership. Not many commercial relationships reach such a significant milestone, and for Al Dobowi and Westlake this occasion is testament to the long-term mutual trust both companies have in each other’s capabilities.

To recognise such a momentous occasion, Mr. Surender Kandhari (Chairman of the global Al Dobowi Group) presented Mr. Ge Gourong (CEO Hangzhou Zhongce) with a commemorative gold dagger – a symbol of strength reflecting the years gone by and also the many years of future growth together.

Starting with the sale of tyres in Africa and the Middle East, Al Dobowi then transferred its commercial aptitude to the European arena, successfully introducing Westlake to many new markets during the past decade.

Now the partnership stretches from Western Europe to India and continues to encompass the Middle Eastern and African markets, where the co-operation originally started two decades ago.
