Here are some of the frequently asked questions on the Love’s website.
What is the fuel and tire inflation service lane?
TIREPASS is a fuel and tire inflation lane where a trained Love’s technician checks and inflates your tires for you while you fuel.
The technician will:
Check tire pressure
Automatically inflate low tires
Measure tread depth
Visually check tire and wheel assemblies
Note: Automatic inflation occurs in tires measuring 75-99% of the desired pressure you request of the Love’s technician. Tires under 75% of your desired pressure are considered run flat by the system and will not be inflated.
Do I receive a report of the results?
Yes. Pick up your detailed tire condition report at the diesel desk once the service is complete.
What are the benefits?
Regular use of the Fuel and Tire Inflation Lane service helps reduce downtime and breakdowns, increases fuel efficiency, promotes safety and prolongs tire life. In the long run, you save money.
How much does it cost?
For a limited time, your first TIREPASS visit is free. On future visits, you pay a low introductory price of $10 (trailer included for free).
How does it work?
Pull into the fuel lane marked TIREPASS, then press the call box button. A technician will come out and perform the TIREPASS service while you fuel. Once the service is finished a complete TIREPASS report will be ready for you to pick up at the diesel desk.
How fast is TIREPASS?
Our technician can check and inflate all of your tires in 10 minutes or less – about the time it takes for you to fuel. Customers are encouraged to register their vehicle on the first visit and utilize flow-through valve caps to speed up future visits.
Do I have to get the TIREPASS service to fuel in the featured lane?
Yes, this fuel lane is reserved exclusively for drivers who want to use the TIREPASS service.
What are the hours of operation?
TIREPASS is open: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.; 7 days a week.
What if I have tire pressure monitoring systems or on-board tire inflations systems?
You should still use TIREPASS. The service can help you confirm the accuracy and reliability of your other systems. You will also receive tread depth measurement and a visual check of your tire and wheel assembly, which tire pressure monitoring systems and on-board inflation cannot do.
